Purpose
The
focus of the A.F.M.P. meeting is directed toward the business
aspects of our industry, however; there are also social functions
scheduled to encourage the exchange of ideas and promote networking
among Marketing officers. The program typically begins on Sunday
evening and concludes on Tuesday afternoon. Business sessions
feature nationally known speakers on industry related topics
and peer workshops. There are two meetings held annually, in
the spring and fall, at Premier locations in the Western United
States.

The
timing of A.F.M.P. meetings allows Marketing Officers to conduct
their company's business in conjunction with the Association
meetings. This format makes attendance at meetings both productive
and cost effective! As A.F.M.P.'s designated site coordinator, Lynette
Owens & Associates, a hotel marketing firm specializing
in the insurance market, is able to provide special rates for
our meetings at premier locations.
